Software as a Service (SaaS) Hosted Accounting Solutions

PROCAS® SaaS accounting software is hosted on our fast, reliable and secure servers. Users can access the software from their computer wherever internet access is available. The processing is performed on our servers, requiring minimal customer hardware resources.

Server hardware and accounting software are provided, backed up and maintained by PROCAS. Customers are not required to purchase and maintain servers for the SaaS Accounting Software nor do they need to purchase licenses for the accounting software. The hosted service is available for as little as $245.00 per month* with access via the internet. †

Performance, Reliability and Security

Two Dual Core 3.0GHz Processors
Servers are equipped with a minimum of two dual core Intel® Xeon™ processors running at 3.0GHz with 4MB Cache, and 1333MHz FSB. These processors provide outstanding computing power.

16GB 667MHz RAM
Servers are equipped with a minimum of 16GB 667MHz memory. Plenty of fast, reliable memory is available for the application.

RAID 10 Hard Drive Configuration
Eight 15,000-RPM SAS, hot-swappable hard drives are setup in a RAID 10 configuration. This configuration provides outstanding data access speed, and if a hard drive fails, it can be replaced without data loss or interruption of service.

Redundant Power Supplies
Two hot-swappable, redundant power supplies power each server. If one power supply fails, it can be replaced without data loss or interruption of service.

UPS Protection
Battery-powered, uninterruptible power supplies protect the server in the event of power failures.

Emergency Power Generators
Emergency power generators power the system in the event of prolonged power failures.

Daily Backups
Tape backups of all the data on the servers are performed daily and moved off site once per week.

Data Security
Connections to the server are protected with 128-bit encryption; the operating system and application software are password protected, and data is encrypted.

Physical Security
The data center is not open to the public. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and monitored by video-surveillance systems.

Redundant High-Speed Internet Connection
Servers are connected to the internet via DS-3 connections to multiple tier-1 backbones. Connections to redundant backbones insure connectivity even if an entire backbone has a break in service. DS-3 connections are thirty times faster than T1 connections and provide high-speed access.

How it Works
PROCAS® SaaS accounting software runs on our servers under the Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 R2 x64 edition operating system and Terminal Server software. Users log onto our server with Terminal Server client software through an internet connection. Thin-client technology allows the user to send keyboard and mouse commands and receive real-time screen updates. Printing is executed on the local printer. PROCAS software appears to be running on the local computer.

* Priced at $245.00 per month per simultaneous accounting user and a one-time setup fee of $200.00 per accounting user. Price includes use of PROCAS software, hardware, minor updates, major upgrades, e-mail and telephone technical support. Web Timesheet and web expense report software is also available at an additional cost. Other costs include the implementation day, training and consulting.

† User is responsible for providing client workstations, printers and connections to the internet from the client workstations.
